====== Displaying and editing your data dictionaries ======

1.      From the OpenInsight 10 IDE select View, Tool Panels, Database.

Select the table you want from within your MultiValue volume. Right click on the table and choose Open In TableDesigner.

Once a table is selected, the converted dictionaries will be displayed in the TableDesigner.  The dictionary details are maintained in the Table Properties panel on the right.

The Foreign Name property MUST match a valid dictionary name on the D3, QM or U2 server.

Change the Len properties on each dictionary column to match as shown below:

6.      Below are the converted dictionaries of the ORDERS table.  Correlatives and conversions have been converted to Calculated Columns.  Edit a calculated column to view its dictionary properties using the Table Properties panel on the right.
