OIPI is doing a lot of stuff and i would prefer to see it become more robust with what it currently does.



If there was a seperate tool that did the graphing/graphics it would probably make it more 'useful'.



Believe me I want OI to do everything i need it to do .. and some stuff that i don't even know that i want it to do.  But not all in 1 routine .  



One thing i think the rti guys try to keep in mind is portability.  Now that they support linux as well and windows portability is a big concern.

These GIF files are then attached to the proper account and can be printed at any time, again with OIPI, or embedded in html for viewing.



Incoming faxes are also changed from .TIFF to .PDF, then to .GIF so that they are attached to the proper accounts.

Thanks for your response, but I have to say I care to differ.  I am using OIPI to produce graphs of all sorts.  All the infrastructure is already in place for programming anything.  Why would you want to duplicate that functionality elsewhere?  Doesn't make sense to me.  All you need is another export option - .jpg instead of .pdf.

I actually would hate to see too much added to OIPI more cleaned up and sped up .. 



There are routines available out there that can do what you want done ..

there are others .. this is the one we will be evaluating as it does a lot more that we *think* we need
