The corruptions I have seem like you describe have been caused by the X/Y coordinates being negative.



You could try editing this, or failing that, recover this from a previous known safe state from a backup, then re-save the form to compile it.



Compare the record to a known safe state, and it is even possible to write a program to fix the negatives.... assuming this is the case.

If you suspect you have controls outside the client area (with negative or very large coordinates), do the following in Form Designer:

- Tab through your controls. This will select one control at a time

- If at any point there seems to be no control selected, the selected control is outside the client area. Then press any arrow key, and Form Designer will force the control to appear inside the client area.

This sounds like you are dealing with the 64K limit on window records. If you open the appropriate SYSREPOSWINS record in the System Editor, how many characters does it say it has?



BTW, this problem has been fixed with OI 7.0.
