Here are the details. Within the outbound scanning window, a user enters the actual store they are scanning out of the warehouse and into the trailer. Now, if a scanned carton is not that store, I want a warning sound to go off. How do I make this sound "sound"!



I have tried this...

RESULT=UTILITY('RUNWIN','c:\temp\asterisk.wav',-1)



Nothing happens. No window appears. No sound. A complete failure. If I execute the program (c:\temp\asterisk.wave) from "windows explorer" it works perfectly.



I have used the "RUNWIN" before, (to move files from one pc to another) on batch files, with success. Something is escaping me mind. Sure would appreciate a resolve.
