Generally ARev on XP will always be slower than under Win98. Win98 still has significant chunks of 16 bit code and is willing to give more resources to ARev than XP.

On one client's systems ARev 3.12 seems to run with little noticable slowdown on Compaq/HP workstations with XP pro. On another client's systems based on Intel motherboards 3.12 runs fine but not so v1.16 which runs dog slow in Windowed mode. These clients recently upgraded from Win98 workstations to XP pro for conversion to OI.



Performance with the NLM can be adversely affected by the version of the Novell Client32.
