====== Removing Indexes Manually ======

Occasionally, index files become corrupted and need to be rebuilt.  This could be due to heavy index update activity.  Usually, rebuilding the index is sufficient.  However, there are times when indexes need to totally removed manually before they can be rebuilt.  This chapter describes the process.
