==== Application Manager Entity Properties vs. SYSREPOS (OpenInsight Specific) ====

I have a form in my Application Manager outline whose
Entity Properties shows Entity Name of APPNAME*OIWINEXE**FORM.
.
Looking in SYSREPOS, the name APPNAME*OIWINEXE**FORM is not in
SYSREPOS.
However, APPNAME*OIWIN**FORM is in SYSREPOS.
Does this cause any problems... and if so how do I correct it.
Thanks
Steve C.

Steve,
If teh record is physically not in the SYSREPOS table, then this implies that your Repository index (SYSREPOSIX) is out of sync and should be rebuilt.
Before doing this though I'd recommend clearing out the SYSREPOSIX table first ( Run Delete_Row "SYSREPOSIX","*" ) and then doing the rebuild.

Carl,
I have a large number of records (rows) in SYSREPOSIX.
Are you sure it's OK to delete all of these Rows????

Hi Steve,
The Repository index is 'hard-coded' in that there are no control records etc that you need in there as you would in a normal index table. Hence, if you delete everything in there the system will just put back in what it needs when you rebuild.
Not clearing it before rebuilding used to be a problem in the good 'ol days of OI v2.0, where we got a lot of RIX101 errors on system rebuilds. A clear out before the rebuild was a good way to stop this!
Of course I'd always recommend you back your system up (well the REPOSIX.* files at least ) first
BTW, have you checked your SYSREPOS and SYSREPOSIX tables for GFE's just in case?
