I am having difficulty refreshing during a paint session. I have
added subroutines to the PAINT_MAIN menu, allowing the user to add predefined prompts and labels. The subroutine calculates the current prompt properties (position, depth, width, etc..) and adds the new prompt/label(s) to wc_prompts% and wc_labels%. It also bumps the wc_label_cnt% and wc_prompt_cnt% accordingly. The problem is that the new item is not visible until you save and repaint the window. I realize wc_display_action% does not work during paint sessions. I have tried calling all 40+ subroutines of PAINTSUB to see if any of these refreshes the screen -- No such luck. I have also tried catalyst and keyboard scan codes for the save,esc, and repaint keystrokes with no luck. Can I recall the Paint window initialize subroutine or any other routine to refresh the screen? Any ideas would be appreciated. I am using AREV 3.12.

Actually, I don't see why display_action won't work, since paint is just a regular window, when all's said and done.
