I am unable to RECREATE-FILE my LISTS file as I receive a "Variable exceeds maximum length" message in RTP51.
Can I DELETE-FILE my LISTS file and simply CREATE-FILE it again?
Or ... is there a get-around for the Maximum length error in RTP51?
Thanks for your previous response --- Dennis

No real reason why not - off the top of our heads we BELIEVE that LISTS file in G were account specific and creating a file would make it account specific. So backup then give it a try :)

go for it, delete the file and create a new one.
If there are items that you wish to keep then
create-file lists.temp etc
copy lists whatever to:(lists.temp
delete-file lists
rename-file lists.temp
make sure everyone is off the system 1st
