During the day, when they toggle between ARev and Word etc they will eventually, and with no apparent pattern, get the message 'RTP57 line 1 B114 Maximum number of variables exceeded' printed 3 or 4 times on the monitor. In the foreground there is a message box with either 'B161- OK' or 'W175-OK'. Clicking OK toggles between the two messages. This happens, on average, 4 or 5 times per day. I have played with the memory settings on the desktop icon that calls the ARev application with a little success - the best I have managed to achieve is to increase the time between the messages appearing. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful! We are running: Novell 4.2 (also happens on 3.12) Windows 95 Novell Client 3.1.0.0 Office 97 (also happens on Office 2000 Revelation NLM 1.5 ---- === At 14 JAN 2000 08:34PM Donna wrote: === A lot of my users were having this problem and also distorted video in Arev that they could not pull out of. Funny we were all running identical machines and I never had the same problem. What it boiled down to is that I never toggle between apps. I have a habit of using the minimize for the Word window and I use Alt/Enter to reduce Arev to a window and minimize it. When my users stopped using the toggle and resorted to switching via the task bar, they no longer had problems. ---- === At 19 JAN 2000 05:47AM Keith Flanagan wrote: === Thanks Donna Running that way has reduced the number of problems, but not stopped them totally.
