If you don't want to use the values passed in the aforementioned events, you can use:



PrevFocusID=Get_Property('SYSTEM','PREVFOCUS')

(for GOTFOCUS)



and



FocusID=Get_Property('SYSTEM','FOCUS') 

(for LOSTFOCUS)



I suspect, but I'm not sure, that the events get the PrevFocusID and FocusID values from the system.
