I havent developed any apps in years, just maintenance. I have updated AREV throught the years 2.x and 3.x and just now updated 3.12. I need to do an ascii bond to import some records on a regular basis. I created the bond files as global. As I alter the dictionary, AREV keeps creating new files under the account name not global. AREV also keeps creating files like dict.myfile.93498 . what are the .xxxxx files? Can I remove them, and can I make them global, or should I. Also. I just realized the latest computer I bought only has 3 1/2 disks. All my AREV disks are 5 1/4. Since I have always upgraded, If I need to reinstall, won't I need the REVG disk for the serial number and have to go through all the steps, 1.x,2.x,3.x. Also I have bump disk's. Now I see AREV uses LANPACK. Are my bump disk no good?
