I am using Advanced Revelations v3.12, NLM v1.5 on Novell network v4.11. I have one table that the cross reference indexes are not correct. When you search via a index, Example: "\" or "\=, the keys that are returned are incomplete and incorrect. In the past, to correct a problem such as this I would update or rebuild the index in question. This problem only occurs in one table in the database. The steps that I have taken currently.
1) Rebuilt the Index
2) Removed the Index and Recreated the Index.
3) Removed all Indexes, deleted the Bang (!) file and recreated all indexes.
If anyone has a suggestion I would really appreceitate it.
Thanks Rick

Try increasing the define dictionary length for the master key to about +5 the largest key.

You might want to check that you aren't using the "\" as one of the indexing delimiters when you define the Crossreference index. If you are that might be your problem. Then you'd have to redefine the index and rebuild.

Are you referring to the Average Length of the dictionary?

No, the largest key.
So, if your keys are
1
10
100
1000
10000
the average length is 3, but the largest is 5. This means the master key should have a dictionary length of about 8.
