For some inexplicable reason, when I do a search in OI, either in the System Editor or in the Event editor, and search for a string, it finds it, but does not scroll to the place where it is.
Works fine in Notepad etc.
Any ideas?

Colin-
Does this happen all the time, on all workstations?
I've seen it happen from time to time on NT workstations, when NT was bogged down- ie Many items open- OI, Formdes, Outlook, Excel, etc.
Could you supply some more specifics?
Also, if you log out of OI and then back in , does it work initially, or just not at all?

If you have PC Anywhere connected into the machine you will get this behavior. There are probably other things that cause it such as NT bogging down.

The most common cause of this is installing intellimouse support. I uninstalled this and hey presto....

I've seen it happen randomly. Sometimes it moves, sometimes it doesn't move, and sometimes it doesn't even find what you are looking for, even though it is clearly there.
Haven't narrowed it down to anything specific, as a reboot doesn't solve anything. Then, suddenly as it happens, it goes away and all is fine for a while. Just chalked it up to the proverbial ghost in the machine and left it be. Don't think RTI can fix, as intuition places it as a video driver thing.

Does it all the time, in both Form Designer and Stored Procedures.
Does not matter what is running.
It only happened in the last few weeks and has been OK for me for 5 years.

I am having same problem. Only occurred after buying a new PC with Windows Millenium. I have an NEC LCD1525V screen and a standard PS/2 mouse. Any takers on this?
