AREV 3.12
Netware 4.11
NLM 1.5a
All workstations having same problem (unless take indexing off)
Just installed a system, transferred data, and everything was fine.
I imported data from an ASCII file to populate some files (i.e. customer, item master), then did rebuild ALL Indexes...finished
without an error, but then I keep getting a
F.Indexer xxxxx maximum length exceeded
when indexing kicks in on any workstation, or when running a
program that does a select on an indexed field/
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Leon,
On the table that you imported data into, is it possible that you have a Quickdex/Rightdex index turned on?
That's the only thing I can think of. Try turning that off, and see if the problem goes away.

At the debugger prompt (!)use /1, /2, /3 etc, to see the current variables. Among them will be the offending table and column. Rebuild the index for the offending column. Problem should be solved
