If anyone has seen this error (it's related to the topic I posted on 12-27-99 concerning novell 5.0 and 5.0 NLM), please help!

Howdy!
Glad to hear from you. Although, I wish you had an answer. We have messed with network configurations, nlm, etc... We did try to resize the file (created a new file, did a remake and record copied) which ended up working. However, when we tried to dump the resized file, it brought the Novell server down and all the AREV users connected to it.
On a personal note, I hope you are doing well. I actually got offered a promotion today but don't know if I want to take it because it's chronically understaffed and alot of stress. My commute is 130 miles a day to top it off....
Take care.
Gay

We saw problems with NetWare 5.0 servers crashing with the Revelation NLM when the workstations used an older client. Switching to the 3.1 client solved those problems.

I am also getting this error (several times a week). I also, have not been able to use the DUMP compact option (without crashing the server). Whenever this message is displayed, one of my AREV clients (diffrent workstations) crashes, sometimes reporting inability to write to a file. My Servers are Netware 5, AREV is 3.12, NW Clients are 3.1. The message is comming from the LH.NLM. I have several very large files. One is about 2.5 gb. I have better than 6gb of available disk. I have 2gb RAM. Can anyone help with this? It is killing my order processing department.
