Is there a way of getting this information at runtime? My ViP 2.5 application has a data object whose number of rows and columns as well as their datatypes and labels change dynamically while the app is running. There is a report which displays the contents of the data object. The problem is that I cannot attach this report to the data object at design time because the object will change at runtime. Since an unconnected report produces only default layouts, I lose some information when the data object has too many columns to fit on one page. I would like to split the data object into several data objects when the width of the columns totalled reach a certain value. I would then use one report per data object to print all the info. Without the column width I don't see how I'm going to do this. Please suggest a solution.
