We are running AREV 3.11 and most of our workstations are Win98. I am testing runing AREV on XP workstations but I seem to be running in to what seems to be security problems. With default security settings when I launch AREV I get an error when AREV is running it's startup command: 'rtp50' line 1. errmsgb28. If I give the Eyeryone group more rights I usually won't get this error. Does anyone else have to make any permissions changes or could this be caused by something else?

What NOS? What client software? This is not a specific security message per se but it may affect the ability of network dependant things to run - hence the queries.

AREV is located on a NT4 server and uses a Novell 3.12 server for printing. As far as the client software goes what are you looking for?
