(AREV Specific) ==== === At 02 DEC 2003 06:18:53PM Michael Slack wrote: === {{tag>"AREV Specific"}} I'm working on an Arev 3.12 application. I was removing an MFS from the SYSOBJ that was no longer needed and wasn't attached to any tables as far as I could tell. As soon as I did that I was getting error messages like W559 "Cannot continue. An attempt was made to execute a null ("") program." In reading other postings on the subject of this error message, one suggested that maybe the MFS was attached to the volume. I've looked but can't seem to find anything like a volume/volume pointer. Since it's something I've only touched once (may be), I'm not sure where it's located. Where would I find the volume pointer for an application? Where would a MFS be attached to a volume? The name that appears in this listing is the name of the volume on which the table is located. There may not be a volume definition, since a pathname will suffice. However, if there is a volume definition, it is stored in the VOC. Structure of the volume record in the VOC is: VOLUME MFS list Data location Possibly other fields, but this should suffice. You can SELECT VOC WITH F1 "VOLUME" to identify all the volume records. Note that if you have more than one VOC file, you will have to do this for each one that is attached throughout your various processes. ---- === At 03 DEC 2003 04:36PM Michael Slack wrote: === Thanks Victor. That got me pointed in the right direction. I was remined of the LISTVOLUME TCL command. Did a LISTMEDIA on each of those volumes and I found my wayward MFS hidding in one of them.
