It's been a long, long time since I used the above import
in AREV. I need to import a REVG file into AREV, but in
the above subject entry screen, after entering the info.,
I get the message that "INCORRECT PASSWORD", even though
my revg system doesn't have a password.... what password
does it want???
Thanks..

can't you just setup a local file name for the g2 file
as follows
1)set a volume such as
VOLUME NAME g2b.vol
TYPE of RTP59
PATH C:\whatever your directory is
2)from tcl
SETFILE g2b.vol GLOBAL real file name local file name
then you can just do copies etc

If you first create the appropriate volume pointer, you can simply attach the RevG volume and process the files as normal.
But be WARNED !
DICT.MFS will modify your dictionaries in a way that renders them useless to RevG. You can either back them up first, or attach an MFS that prevents the dictionary restructure.
As for the password - is the file owing account password protected?. You could edit the ROSMEDIA.MAP and change the account to the Logon account before you attach the RevG volume.
