The reason being that it is emulating a Novell server but does not support logical locking. The chances are you are using Novell Netware driver which is IPX based. By changing to the generic DOS driver you use byte range locking. This may not then conflict with the CD Tower. Downside is that byte range locking protocol is slower and cannot be used with the Revelation NLM which requires its own IPX network driver.
