(AREV Specific) ==== === At 03 MAR 2003 08:47:26AM Janice Preston wrote: === {{tag>"AREV Specific"}} A client has Windows 2000 Server, SP3. Various workstations, NT, Win98, XP and Win2k. Release Version is 3.111 and Vendor Type is All Networks Drivers. They have the Revelation Windows 2000 Service Pack and NPP installed. On their Event Log they are getting many messages such as the following "The "LHReadRecord' call failed, returning LH error number 1009, file number 1, group number 0, file open error" also get The 'LHReadOnly Record call failed, returning LH error number 1003, file numbe 1, group number 8997. Group format error Group #8997, invalide frame header during read" and The 'LHReadNextKeyIdgroup call failed, returning LH error number 19136476, file number 2011717979, group number 2011719896 ???. On all of these the LH service stops and they have to reboot. These errors do not appear to take place at any specific time, but happend frequently. An example is on Feb 12, 20003 at 3.40, 12.41,8.33pm 8.27 and 12.29 That is 5 times in one day. Any information on how to prevent this, what is causing it etc. would be appreciate. They cannot pin point the exact date when this first started, owever, they are sure nothing new was installed, or uninstalled around that period of time (software or hardware). Thank you in advance for any information Janice ---- === At 03 MAR 2003 09:26AM The Sprezzatura Group wrote: === Someone else who had this problem responded "Problem Solved: This problem ended up being a corrupt DICT file in the REVBOOT. It was a file we werent using but still was being called. It was found by doing an LH_Verify of REVBOOT. We are doing nightly lh_verify of our data but werent checking the REVBOOT or JCSPRG areas. The DICT was rebuild and the problem appears to be solved. Thanks to everyone who responded."
