Since QBF is disfunctional, I am having to write a replacement. One aspect of select cursor management in AREV was the SELECT.SEEK routine which allowed the programmer to set the next key position in a cursor. Since this command is not listed in the OI documentation, I suspect it has gone missing. What is its replacement?

Gerald,
$SELECT.SEEK is in SYSOBJ so I suspect it still works. I can't recall if we have tried yet but I wouldn't be surprised if we did. Keep in mind that most AREV routines have been ported to OI although several of them are undocumented.

Don,
Thanks. As you have replaced QBF, you may well have used this routine. Ira is looking into documenting AREV system subroutines included in OI.
