I found only 2 threads on this topic, but from the postings I really  couldn't figure out, whether this [b]extraordinary AREV feature[/b] did make its way into OI or not.

Solution:

There were some hidden characters when editing the SYSPTRS record - since the SYSTEM EDITOR doesn't show really what's going on, we couldn't see the error.
