==== INET_ functions in OI 9.3 (OpenInsight 32-bit) ====

Hi,
I am testing OI 9.3 to upgrade to that version. I can't get routines starting with INET working. I am getting a dot as the response from OI. This includes INET_TRACE. I tried using OECGI2 and OECGI3.
Routines starting with O4W work, so OECGIs are well configured. I read in the "What's new in 9.3" in the help that routines starting with INET should be authorized to be accessed, but I don't find anything else about it in the help. I am missing something?

I found the cause. Effectively, INET functions should be authorized to be allowed to be executed. I found it looking a KB document on the SYSENV, as I suspected that the configuration should be there.
The list of INET functions to enable should be in the 5th field of CFG_INET record in SYSENV.

You can edit the INET security functions using the new IDE. On the menu bar click Tools -> "INET Configuration". A single dot returned to the web browser indicates the INET routine was not authorized to run.
As a side note INET_TRACE is now disabled by default.
