Locates a string in a list or combo box.

Parameters are as follows.
| Parameter | Description |

| Findtext | Text to find. It is sufficient to specify just the first characters of desired text. |
| Startpos | Position of item before the first item to be searched. Use 0 to search the entire list. |
| Matchflag | Set true, if you require an exact match. The default value is false. A partial match starts at the first character and then searches to the right. |
Position of the matched list item (starting with 1), or 0 if search was unsuccessful.
