In a mixed Arev OI32 environment on Netware 5.1 with the NLM, are there any potential issues with dual processors in the server?

Jonathan;
Arev and OI32 do not take advantage of dual processors. However the network products do. The NLM may over utilize the processors; we will be checking.

What do you mean the NLM may overwork the dual processor?
Is this good or bad?
We're preparing to install NT service on a dual processor – Windows 2000 and OI32 . I'm aware that OI32 does not take advantage of a dual processor. However, the OS and the NT services do. We're hoping that this environment will enhance things and not make things worst . You positive confirmation on this would be appreciate.
Thanks,
Ray
Have seen no issues re dual processors on either Novell 5.1 / NLM - Arev & OI32 running 18mths. On Win2000 / Win2000 Service 2.1. (OI32) seems OK.

Well that's a relief. However, should anything funky happens would appreciate an update. Meanwhile, should something happen to me, I will holler . Of course, if all goes well, I will also keep all interested parties informed.

In the past dual processors and the NLM (as late as v1.5) were a no-no. I don't know if this is still the case with the latest version. The NT Service has no problems with dual processors.
Don,
Thanks for the positive affirmation!
