Printing problems under Windows NT Server (AREV Specific)

I have a client who uses an application developed by us in AREV 3.12 some years back. They are in the middle of upgrading their network from Novell 3.x to Windows NT Server 4, but are experiencing problems with printing from AREV.

They have installed the Revelation NT Service Pack, and in the most part things seem to be ok. Except…

Before the Server upgrade, print jobs containing printer control characters for (eg) bold, underline etc worked fine from both Windows 95 and Windows NT workstations. Now, though, the control characters themselves are printed, again from both Win95 and WinNT workstations.

According to my client, nothing else has changed in their setup, other than the Server upgrade. They are using the same printers, with no change to the printer properties etc.

Can anyone out there shed some light on what might be causing this.

Thanks in advance.

Are they still printing via Novell?

Did they have to change print queues around to get to Novell printers from NT? Have they lost an 'NT' (No Tab expansion) setting on their print queue?
