We have a user who's OI 7.2 system is installed on a network using the Universal Driver 3.?? and the system runs fine when only one user is logged on, but when a second user runs the software it is extremely slow.
It takes several seconds to access a single screen and many more when running processes that usually take a few seconds.
They are using a Windows 2003 Server and XP Professional Workstations. OpenInsight Version 7.2 - 32-bit is being used.
We tried logging in as the second user from several different workstations and the system is still extremely slow.
If the first original user logs out of OI and the second (slow) user logs on then the second user works fine until the first user logs in again.
So the problem exists when a second user accesses OI from a workstation.
In fact once the second user logs on even the first user experiencies speed problems.
Any Suggestions would be aprreciated ?
David,
Before trying various configuration options (which we can get into later if necessary) try reinstalling the UD service. This has been the solution for your exact problem for us.
Also check that you don't have an lh3.log hanging around.

Are they logging in with the same workstation login?
The workstations are using seperate user logins and they are both running on Win XP
Sorry, I actually meant Station Id, not login.
I would expect the Station Id would be different, but worth a check, as this causes the situation you describe. Check @Station variable.
The @station(s) are different on the seperate workstations
