We're using the NLM on Netware 3.12 and AREV 3.12 from DOS workstations with no problems. Now we want to run it on NT workstations. I have created a command file with the following commands per the documentation:
LhIpxTsr.Exe /p
Arev.Exe /x /m4096
LhIpxTsr.Exe /u
It appears to load fine. Arev comes up fine with no errors. The TSR is loaded in memory. Per the installation instructions, we have a program that calls IsTsr(), it returns true. We also open the VOC table and check the file handle for a string of F's. They aren't there. They are there on the DOS workstations.
Is this a problem? How do I fix it?
Thanks,
Paul
Paul,
1) Create the revparam file with ServerOnly=1 as its only entry.
2) Make sure you are using the Novell client32
3) Do you have your config.nt set to allow EMS?

I am not using the Novell Client32, I'm using Microsoft Client for Netware. Do I need to change? Also, you asked about config.nt and EMS, I don't understand that. Can you tell me what's needed.
Thanks,
Paul
Paul-
Yes you should change to the Novell Client32.
the config.nt file is the same as the config.sys file
for the other versions of windows. There should
be a default one on your workstations now, and it
should contain some sample settings and documentation
on some things you might want to configure. Look
through it until you find something on EMS.
You basically want to make sure that there isn't a line in
the config.nt file that disables EMS.
