I am attempting to create a new window within our application. I have also created a table to store the text entered in the window and added a column from the dictionary as a prompt in the window.
When i go to save the window, it asks what Dict attributes to update from the prompt, and if i select Single/Multi, i get the following error:
FS252 - Error Compiling Protection Module.
As a result, i am unable to enter text into this field as it either scrolls across on the top line, or the window freezes completely.
It updates all other dictionary attributes with no problems.
Previously I have been able to update Single/Multi without problems.
Can anybody offer any suggestions. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Just a couple of questions that might be helpful.
Does this happen in this one table or all tables?
Could be damage in the table.
Can you duplicate this on a different computer on a different (new) table?
Could be a memory issue.

I've seen this happen once in a while. You can fix the dictionary manually to make the prompt either multi-valued or single-valued with the TEXT justification mode to suit your purposes. I normally used the TEXT justification for notes-type fields since the Zoom window allows for easy editing. Then go back into your form and change the justification in the prompt to match the dictionary. This time DO NOT update the dictionary. This should fix it
