We've got a runtime app developed in OI 3.7.2. For some reason it crashes on bootup on a client's two particular windows XP systems where, of course, it works fine everywhere else.
I can't identify anything unusual that might be causing OI to fail to boot.
Here's the error report line taken from a system information report:
5/31/2004 8:40 AM Application Error Faulting application oinsight.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x7ffe0304.
OI does launch fine in safe mode.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It turns out OI wouldn't start as long as ZoneAlarm was running – no matter what its security level setting.
Closing ZoneAlarm then starting OI then starting ZoneAlarm successfully worked around the problem.
I've used other software firewalls without encountering such a problem.
Can anyone explain or guess why this conflict exists?
