DDE Linking (OpenInsight Specific)

I have created a link with EXCEL in my OpenInsight application, but when I close my application I get a message from the Application Manager saying that "Another process has exclusive access to the engine. The current process cannot continue.". If I close EXCEL first then there is no problem.

Does anyone know of a way of canelling or breaking the link with EXCEL because I want EXCEL to remain open after closing my application.

Please help me if you can. Thanks
