In release 3.6 I am unable to set the spacing parameter in the form designer preferences to anything less than 3. If I set the parameter to 1 or 2 and save the preferences dialog, when the dialog is reopened the value is set to 3. Values greater than 3 work OK.

Is the minimum spacing fixed at 3 and if so, how long has it been that way? I don't remember earlier releases having this limitation.
