Well most of my 16 bit apps seem not to support it (in fact I'm having problems finding one that does). If you need relative paths why not just store stuff under OI?

OIFWG is a 16-bit program that does not understand the Universal Naming Convetion (UNC … machinename/dir1/dir2… ). Nearly all 16-bit programs are written to use the DOS drive letter convention. You must map the UNC to a drive letter!
