In the icon properties, using a full path name, eg \\Server\Live\App causes an errlr FS231 Repos_BFS - FS1100.
This is a bit of a worry as other windows apps do not have a problem here.
Using OI 3.4
Any ideas when/if this might be resolved.
Colin,
OI requires that you map a drive.

Well most of my 16 bit apps seem not to support it (in fact I'm having problems finding one that does). If you need relative paths why not just store stuff under OI?

Colin:
OIFWG is a 16-bit program that does not understand the Universal Naming Convetion (UNC … machinename/dir1/dir2… ). Nearly all 16-bit programs are written to use the DOS drive letter convention. You must map the UNC to a drive letter! My suggestion is that if you want relative paths, keep the subdirectories that you want to use as subdirectories of the directory containg OINSIGHT.EXE. then, you will not need to worry about how a particular computer has mapped the UNC paths, because you will not need to include any drive letter to access those directories. regards, Gregg </QUOTE> View this thread on the forum...
