Tried to install OI on a Windows XP standalone machine. I got the OI icon to dth desktop but when I click it it couldn't find some DLL files. It installed to C:\Revsoft\Oinsight. I copied the files it couldn't fined to Revsoft. No good.

I tried to uninstall. Wouldn't let me. I fount a place in the menus ehere it said set to Compatable to Windows 95. When I clicked the drop down menu, their was no Windows XP.

The only thing else I haven't tried is coping the files to Oinsight instead of Revsoft.

Any ideas on what I did wrong or what I should try?

It sounds as though you didn't install the shortcut correctly. Did you right click on desktop, choose new, shortcut, navigate to the OI dir and click on oinsight.exe?

You better run the setup.exe from the "Client" folder. It's sounds like your missing Ctl3d.dll.
