I have a situation where an app under Arev uses the comm driver to force a modem to dial a phone number. Under Win95 this process works, but not under NT. I can't determine if there is any way to let Arev access the comm ports. Is there some trick or tip that can be used to, for instance, load Commdrv.IBM as a driver, or a workaround to access the modem?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

There's a program called DEVLOAD that I use sucessfully on Win95 to force COMMDRV.IBM to load in each DOS box. I do not know if this will work under NT, but it's worth a shot.
I'm guessing you've already tried to load it in a customied CONFIG.NT and it failed.

You might have to use the FORCEDOS /D command under NT.
