Does anyone have a copy of an old REV software called RGRAPH? I am looking for some way to capture data via an AREV program, create a function that describes that data, and plot the function on the screen. I've been told that RGRAPH may be able to do this. I've checked with Revelation and with the company that wrote RGRAPH about purchasing this software from someone who might have it. Both companies said there would be no legal problems with such a purchase.
We have a pristine copy of EasyGraph on our shelves but we tend to like to keep these things for historical reasons. If DFM want us to cut you a copy and remit them a license fee we can do so?

I have a copy of RGraph somewhere, I just saw the manual when digging through my archealogical piles of effluvium. I'm not sure if I still have the diskette(s)(5.25") though. The version I have will not work with DOS 5.0 or higher for some reason or other having to do with memory management. I used to run it under a virtual DOS 4.x session in OS/2 but I haven't done that in 5 or 6 years.
I doubt if it will be of any good to you unless you have a copy of DOS previous to v5.0.
Or try PcExecute with freeware software GNUPlot.

The computers we have at school are older, but I won't be back there until 6/28 so I can't check them out. However, if you'd be willing to sell your version, let me know how much you want for it. We can't afford too much, but I will see if my department would be able to come up with a few $ to buy it and I can test it on site. Thanks for the reply.

I'll see if I still have the diskette. I don't recall if it had a one-time install copy protection scheme based on REV SN# or not so it may not do you any good either way.
Hi Andrew,
I finally got an opportunity to look at the GNUplot list. Some of the demos look like they may be what I'm looking for. Can I acquire copies of some the the programs from you? If so, please let me know the details of how to do that. If not, do you have any information on how I can get those programs?
Much appreciated,
Harold
Whoops,
It just occured to me that enough time has elapsed that you may not have remembered what I was talking about in the topic I just submitted. I'm trying to get a simple graphing program that I can execute from a front end AREV program that will graph or locate pixels
and highlight them. We corresponded about RGRAPH in relation to this problem approximately 2 weeks ago.

GNUPlot it freely available for download from many web sites, just do a search in say HOTBOT on GNUPlot. I've never used it I regret to say.
