We have been unable to get AREV 3.12 to run in full screen mode under Windows 2000 in some cases.
Changing the screen setting to "full Screen" has worked fine for fifty or more workstations running Windows 2000 but we have a few, 10 or so, that refuse to go full screen no matter what we do.
Any Thoughts?

If what you are seeing is ARev running roughly half-screen, try this: With ARev running in a window, right-click on the title bar, choose properties, and then the Layout tab. The Height will probably be set to 50. Change it to 25. When you click OK, you will probably see a dialog about whether to apply this to all programs with the same name, or something similar. Click on that as well. For some reason, on some machines I have had to do this more than once before it takes. Similar for XP, too.

Jon,
On method to attempt is to create a desktop icon for
c:\windows\system32\command.com
(the MS-DOS prompt)
but set to the path where you have command.com present in your system. Try adjusting the properties to make this full-screen. Once you have the DOS prompt working on full screen in 80 x 25, then use the same shortcut settings to call AREV.
Some video cards don't support video mode 3 (CGA 16 color) any more, so there's where the common failure might be - check which video cards are in the non-compliant PCS, and look for later video driver revisions if available.
FWIW I have a Toshiba 2800 series laptop with this exact malaise.

To add to Davids info… This is how I got the full screen to work and also the mouse. right click on the left hand top corner of the window and click on Properties.
1) for full screen: Click on the layout tab, set the Screen Buffer Size and Window size to 80 25. Click Ok and choose Save properties for future windows
2) for mouse : Click on the Options tab, uncheck the QuickEdit Mode check box.
