Issues with Pentium based servers and AREV (AREV Specific)

Are there any known problems running AREV from a Pentium based server? We are currently running Netware 3.12, AREV 2.12 on a Compaq Prosignia 486/66. The application developers want to make sure there won't be any problems migrating Netware and AREV to a Compaq Proliant 2500 or 3000. Any feedback would be great!

Thanks.

The files are read from the server, but AREV actually runs on the workstation RAM. Therefore, provided the server supports Novell, you should be OK. The Compaqs, including Proliants are pretty good machines in my experience. The only issue that may arise is if you run the NLM on the server's RAM, but again, if Novell Netware runs, the rest should be OK. If you upgrade Netware from 3.x to 4.x the AREV files must be flagged -T to turn transactional tracking off.
