OI 3.61 - probs displaying edit boxes in Citrix (Win NT 3.51) (OpenInsight Specific)

Hi all.

I am experiencing a 'minor' problem that has got me flustered.

I have been developing a multi-user OI 3.61 app in a single user, Windows 95 environment. Everything has been working reasonably well, and I have begun phase 1 of deploying the application at the client site.

I installed OI on the client's 3.12 server, and verified connections and record locking via a Win98 Novell client. Everything looked great and worked as expected.

The problem appeared when I ran the application via a remote connection to the customer's Citrix server (Win NT 3.51). When viewed via Citrix, edit boxes needed to be resized slightly to display the same data that displayed perfectly under Win95/98…?!

Obviously, at this stage of the game, I really don't want to resize all of the edit boxes in the application. My app makes heavy use of the edit boxes because of the ability to right justify the data… . Has anyone run into this type of display 'compatability' problem before?

Please note that I did NOT do a local installation of any files to the Citrix server (e.g., no .ini or workstation setup files). I am simply running the OI application off of the Novell server (this client has been running an AREV app the same way for a number of years without incident - and without the NLM).

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Gene

Just a guess, but it could be something as silly as CTL3D.DLL. OI does ship with a specific one.

Thanks Aaron. I'll give it a shot.

I noticed a posting on this from way back in 1996, same problem, no posted solution…
