Migrating from Novell Netware to Windows NT (AREV Specific)

I currently have a Novell 4.11 server which has an AREV 3.12 application installed. I am working for a department in a county government agency that maintained our own independent network. We are now being told we will be losing our network and will have to connect to the county network for our applications. The county network currently has a Windows NT Terminal Server we will be accessing via Wyse Winterms and a seperate Windows NT Server we will be storing all of our data currently stored on our Novell server. Can anyone layout what the IS department at the county will have to do to ensure our application will still work? I would imagine they are hoping to store the application on one NT server and have us access via an icon on the Terminal Server desktop.

Thanks in advance!!

Jason,

First the system will need to use the NT Service to operate properly in this environment. Assuming you already have the NLM you can get a cross-grade from Revelation on this.

It is best if the NT Terminal Server machine is serving as a client to another server rather than host AREV on itself. Once the NT Terminal Server is capable of launching AREV in this way you shouldn't have any problems with the Winterm stations.

Ideally there will also be Citrix Metaframe installed to provide additional features like better printing options and file transfer capabilities.
