Hi I hope this is a simple issue.
I have a client with an old arev 3.12 database just being used to lookup old data records. I want to remove the 4.11 Netware server where arev 3.12 is currently residing. The arev database could be transferred to the new NT box or an older 95 system acting as a peer to peer server.
I have copied the data across but everytime I start arev it comes up with a warning stating Netware is not responding. The server is inactive or your workstation shell has not been loaded. You will not be able to lock tables or rows.
Use only local tables or log out and check your network connection.
How do I configure Arev to recognise the non-netware environment?

Before moving your application from the Netware server, change the Network driver to DOS 3.1 driver. You can do so from the SYSPROG account (AREV SYSPROG) - My memory fails, but I think it's AREV BUMP at TCL, so check your installation notes.

Try also the All networks driver. Be sure that the revparms are set also.
