AREV 3.12 does not work with Novell NetWare Client 32 v3.2 for Windows 9x. Our entire system locks-up. Any insight(no pun intended)would be appreciated.
Well, we found problems with Revelation NLMS on the Novell servers. If you are letting your workstations handle indexing then you can ignore the rest of this.
Problem #1: Older NLMs (V 1.5 and earlier) WON'T work with Netware 5 - you have to have the latest V5 NLMs (plus new driver & TSR).
Problem #2: Once your network people roll Service Pack 4 on Netware 5, the newest NLM won't work either. We had to revert to workstation indexing at all our sites once we rolled SP4 onto our servers.
