We are trying to allow the user to hide/disable menu options.
If you make a menu invisible and visible again, the TEXT property is lost.
This then causes the default entity name to be used.
Any workarounds or fixes?
Colin..
My opinion is that it's troublesome. What we have done in the past is to save the Menu item in a variable @ORIG (which won't go away). Then, you can disable the menu. Restore it by setting it back to the contents of @ORIG and clearing it and then making it enabled. I'm not sure if this works with VISIBLE (1,0), but it might be worth a try.

Colin,
If you really need to 'hide' menu items instead of making them disabled then you can use the MENU_INSERT and MENU_DELETE options of the Send_Message() function. Both are undocumented but examples of their use can be found in the source code to the CS and UI workspace MDI frames that ship with OI.

Sprezzatura Group,
Since it is not documented AND this smells of creating/destroying .. won't this run a-foul of the license agreement. Is this just your sneaky way to get people in trouble?

Thanks for your tips.
It would be better (for everyone) if Revelation just fixed the problem.
How about a pressure group to get these things sorted?
Or are we already being one?
Dear me Mr Sigafoos, as any fule kno CSSP deploy on development ready systems!
