We have problems printing to network printers from a Win2000 workstation. We are on an NT server. The application is written in RevG. On Win98 workstations we use a mapping of the printer port and then PDISK to that port. I can not figure out how to do this in Win2000.
The answer to this question is found in the Win2000 help knowledge base. Specifically article Q154498 "How to Print to a Network Printer from a MS-DOS-Based program". The article says to use thenet use lpt: \
/persistent:yesto assign a port. Steve Smith and others have posted this detail several times on the Revelation website. For NT/Win2000 problems check outthe NT registry hacks is quite useful.
