I'm making this a new topic off my Record locking, simply because what's happening doesn't make sense to me. I went through and made
all the recommended changes. Especially, the update indexes before filter to No because my users are simply not patient enough to wait.
Modified each and every .ini file, 10 or so for each server, so that everything would be in synch. Well, Because I have 6 databases on 6 different servers, the first couple of times I did this I thought I just forgot to do one or 2 but now I'm going on round 4 and my changes don't seem to be taking effect. ???
I also have a symbolic field that I have to make the same changes to every week or so because it changes back mysteriously????
Does anyone understand this? Where are my changes finding the old stuff??
