A workstation can verify that the NLM is handling the transactions by checking the file handle for a file located on a server running the revelation NLM. The file handle should contain six "F" values.
To view the file, go to the TCL prompt and type the following:
EDIT SYSTABLES VOC
You should see the following information:
NLM File handle: 0000008FFFFFFREV12345.LK
What should show in when this command is run if the Windows 2000 Service is in use? I heard somewhere that the FFFF thing isn the same with this LH service?
Caroline - It will most likely show a string of zeros similar to the not connected state of NLM workstations. If it's not working, you will get FS messages similar to the ones you get if the service is stopped and the REVPARAM files say ServerOnly=True.
