We have been asked to convert a number of files from Arev 2.1 to Arev 3.12 system. When we logon to th clint's RUNTIME 2.1 application system, Arev goes into a loop and the system has to be re started. We thenlogon using AREV.EXE and attempted to Logto the application and again the system hung. We then attempted to view the Upgrade Account window to view the the settings(Management-Accounts-Upgrade Account) and received the message:
"Missing Upgrade.log file in Revboot Status 4"
The Secure Account window display the correct information for the application.
The problem arose when the system was copied from an archieve CD.
Help to identify the Logon problem would be appreciated.
When you copied back from archive CD did you unset the read only attributes for all the files?
