I have a client recieving intermitten file open errors. I suspect the hardware as I can never find any corruption and the errors come and go. Any more details as to where this comes from would help.

Ryan, we'll need a little more information to hazard a guess…
Is it a Network volume?
What brand of network? (Novell / Windows NT / 2000 / peer-peer)
Which AREV network driver?
What Windows operating system version? (95/98/NT/XP/ME/2000)
What is the default FILES= setting in config.sys / config.nt?
Is it isolated to one workstation or every workstation on the network?

The client is now moving to a new server for now. It will be a 2000 server with the AREV service pack installed. I will repost if errors show up on the new server.
